Use
Clark's O.N.T. or J. & P. Coats Mercerized Crochet, sizes 10 to 60.
Clark’s O.N.T “Brilliant”.
Clark’s O.N.T. or J. & P. Coats Pearl Cotton, size 5.

Two-color edging—suggest Sport Green and Yellow.

To begin, with Sport Green make a chain slightly longer than length desired. 1st row: S c in 2nd ch from hook, s c in each ch across. Ch 5, turn. 2nd row: * Skip 4 s c, s c in next s c, ch 5. Repeat from * across. Ch 5, turn. 3rd row: * S c in next loop, ch 5. Repeat from * across. Break off. 4th row: Attach Yellow, * ch 2, s c in next loop, ch 2; into next loop make three 3-tr clusters with ch-2 between each cluster (to make a cluster, make 3 tr in same place, always holding the last loop of each tr on hook; then, thread over hook and draw through all loops on hook, ch 1 to fasten). Repeat from * across, ending row with s c in last loop. Break off.
