Repeat from * around, ending rnd with ch 4, d tr in 3rd ch of ch-12 first made (80 loops). 3rd rnd: * Ch 12, s c in next loop, ch 9. Repeat from * around, ending rnd with d tr in 3rd ch of ch-12 first made. 4th rnd: * Ch 9, s c in next loop. Repeat from * around. Join last ch-9 with sl st in first st of ch-9 first made. 5th rnd: Ch 3 (to count as d c), 10 d c in 1st loop, * 9 d c in next loop, 11 d c in next loop. Repeat from * around, ending rnd with 9 d c in last loop, s c in 3rd st of ch-3 first made. 6th rnd: S c in each of next 10 d c, * ch 8, skip 9 d c, tr in each of next 11 d c, picking up the back loop only of these 11 d c. Small Doily. Cut a circle of linen 3¼ inches in diameter and make a very narrow hem all around. Work exactly as for large doily, but having 32 loops (instead of 80 loops) in the first loop rnd.
