Skip 2 ch of foundation, d c in next ch, ch 7, skip 2 ch, d c in next ch. Repeat from ** across. Turn so that you are working along other side of foundation chain. 3rd row: Work to correspond with 2nd row. 4th row: Working on previous side of foundation, d c in next ch-3 sp, * ch 7, d c in next ch-3 sp. Repeat from * once. Ch 1, 4 d c in ch-7 loop on foundation. Repeat from * across, turn. 5th row: * In each of next 2 ch-7 loops work: 4 d c, ch 3, 4 d c. D c in ch-1 sp, ch 5, skip 4 d c, d c in next ch-1 sp. Repeat from * across. Break off and fasten securely.

Heading. 1st row: Attach thread at 1st ch-3 loop of other side of foundation. D tr in same ch-3 loop, * ch 4, 2 d c in next ch-3 loop, ch 4, d tr in next loop, d tr in ch-7 loop, d tr in next ch-3 loop. Repeat from * across, turn. 2nd row: Ch 4 (to count as tr), tr in same loop, * ch 4, 2 tr in next loop. Repeat from * across. Break off.
