Bathrooms are now gaily color conscious, so introduce a bright note with these handsome new colored edgings … either the flower-like pastels, or the bold, strong shades that are so much the vogue.

Guest Towels:
Clark's O.N.T. or J. & P. Coats Mercerized Crochet, sizes 10 to 30.

Bath Towels:
Clark's O.N.T. "Brilliant".
Clark's O.N.T. or J. & P. Coats Pearl Cotton, size 5.
J. & P. Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen.

Suggest Variegated or solid color.

Edging. Make hairpin lace for desired length. Break off. Attach thread to 1st 4 loops on one side and * working on all 4 loops at same time, make 15 s c in this 4-strand loop (taking care to keep twist). Insert hook through next 4 loops. Repeat from * across. Break off. Attach thread to opposite side and, working on 4 loops at once as before, make 5 s c in each 4-strand loop across. Break off.

Insertion. Make hairpin lace for desired length, and work on both sides as for outer side of edging.
