Two-color edging—suggest Blue and China Blue.
With China Blue, make a chain about one inch longer than length desired, turn. 1st row: S c in 2nd ch from hook, s c in each ch across. Ch 5, turn. 2nd row: * Skip 2 s c, s c in next s c, ch 5, skip 2 s c, s c in next s c, ch 10, skip 3 s c, s c in next s c, ch 5, skip 2 s c, s c in next s c, ch 5. Repeat from * across, ending row with 2 ch-5 loops. Break off. 3rd row: Attach Blue to beginning of last row, s c in 1st loop, ** ch 1, s c in next loop, ch 1, d c in 1st ch of ch-10, ch 1, skip 1 ch, d c in next ch, ch 1, skip 1 ch, into next ch make d c, ch 1, d c, ch 1, skip 1 ch, d c in next ch, ch 1, skip 1 ch, d c in next ch, ch 1, * s c in next loop, ch 1. Repeat from * 2 more times. Repeat from ** across. Ch 1, turn. 4th row: Pick up only the front loop of each st. * S c in each s c and in each ch across to within 2 d c made together, 3 s c between 2 d c. Repeat from * across. Ch 1, turn. 5th row: Picking up only the back loop of each s c across, make s c in each s c across and 3 s c in center s c of each 3-s c group. Break off.
