   Here are new ideas for trimming your "extra special" linens. J. & P. Coats or Clark's O.N.T. Mercerized Crochet, sizes 30 and 50, are popularly used. Edgings and insertions crocheted of Clark's O.N.T. "Brilliant" have a rich, lustrous effect. For delicate laciness, use J. & P. Coats Tatting Cotton, size 70, or fine sizes of Mercerized Crochet.

   Bath towel edgings are attractively made of Pearl Cotton, size 5, Clark's O.N.T. Cronita and J. & P. Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen—using Milward's steel crochet hook No. 5, 6 or 7.

Turn. 2nd row: * Ch 12, 1 s c in tip of next petal, ch 12, 1 s c between next 2 petals. Repeat from * 2 more times. Ch 1, turn. 3rd row: Under next ch-12 work 7 s c, a ch-5 picot, 7 sc. S c in s c between ch's. Under next ch-12 loop work 7 s c, ch-5 p, 7 s c. Cover the next double loop and half the next in the same way, then turn. * Ch 25, 1 s c in center of next double loop. Repeat from * once, ch 1, turn. Under last loop work 7 s c, p, 15 s c, p, 7 s c. Under half of next loop work 7 s c, p, 7 s c, turn. Ch 25, 1 s c in center of next double loop, ch 1, turn. Under last loop work 7 s c, p, 7 s c, p, 7 s c, p, 7 s c, and under next 2 half loops work 7 s c, p, 7 s c. 1 sl st in top of last cluster, ch 7, a 3 tr-cluster in 1st st of ch. Repeat from beginning of directions for desired length and fasten off.

Heading row: Attach thread at 1st cluster. * Ch 17, 1 s c in tip of petal of next flower, ch 17, 1 s c in tip of petal of next flower, ch 25, 1 s c in tip of petal of next flower. Repeat from * across.
