Row 3—Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in each sc across. Rpt row 3 until 46 rows. Row 47—Ch 1, turn, draw up a loop in each of first 2 sc, yo, thru 3 loops on hook (1 dec. made), 1 sc in each sc to last 2 sc, draw up a loop in each of last 2 sc, yo, thru all 3 loops on hook (1 dec. made). Rpt rows 3, 47, 3, 47, 3, 47, 3. EDGING—Ch 1, turn, work a row of sc all around piece (keeping edge flat), join (with slip st in first sc), fasten off. Rnd 2—From same side as last rnd, with B 1 sc in each sc, join, fasten off. FRONT—Work to end of row 3 of Back. Rpt row 3 until 35 rows. Rows 36 to 39—Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in each sc to last sc, 2 sc in last sc. Rows 40 to 55—Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in each sc across. Rows 56, 57—Ch 1, turn, draw up a loop in each of first 2 sc, yo, thru all 3 loops on hook, * draw up a loop in each of next 2 sc, yo, thru all 3 loops on hook *, 1 sc in each sc to last 4 sc; rpt between * twice. Row 58—Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in each of first 19 sc. Row 60—Rpt row 59 only work 1 sc in each of 9 sc instead of 11 sc. EDGING—Work same Edging as for Back. CAP—With C ch 2, 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Rows 2, 3—Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in each sc across. Continue to work 1 sc in end of each row to first sc of row, slip st in first sc, fasten off. With B 1 sc in joined sc, 1 sc in each sc, join in first sc, ch 1, 1 sc in joined st, ch 4, slip st in last sc made (Picot made), * 1 sc in each of 2 sc, a Picot; rpt from * 4 times, slip st in next sc, fasten off; sew Cap in place and with B embroider on Front as shown. With C chain about 12 inches, slip st in each ch across, fasten off, sew to form Eyeglasses as shown. Sew Front and Back together to form Case as shown. Line if desired.
