Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 2/0 (double zero).

Bone ring...Red felt.

Use one strand each of "Speed-Cro-Sheen" and "Knit-Cro-Sheen" Metallic together throughout.

Starting at bottom, ch 28 to measure 6 ½ inches. 1st row: In 2nd ch from hook make sc and dc (group st made), * skip 1 ch, in next ch make sc and dc (another group st made). Repeat from * across. Ch 1, turn. 2nd row: Skip first dc, make a group st in each sc across. Ch 1, turn. Repeat 2nd row until piece is square.

EDGING ... 1st rnd: Sc closely around, making 3 sc in each corner. Join with sl st to first sc. 2nd rnd: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, making 3 sc in center sc of each 3-sc group at corners. Join. 3rd rnd: Ch 3, 2 dc in same place as sl st, * skip next sc, sc in next sc, skip next sc, 3 dc in next sc. Repeat from * around. Join and break off.

Line with felt. Sc closely around bone ring. Sew in place.
