Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 2/0 (double zero).

Bone ring...Red felt.

Use 1 strand each of "Speed-Cro-Sheen" and "Knit-Cro-Sheen" Metallic together throughout.

Starting at one end, make a chain 8 inches long. 1st row: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, * skip 1 ch. in next ch make half dc, ch 1 and half dc; skip 1 ch, sc in next c:h. Repeat from * until row measures 6 ½ inches, ending with half dc, ch 1 and half dc. Cut off remaining chain. Ch 1, turn. 2nd row: Sc in first ch-1 sp, * at base of next sc make half dc, ch 1 and half dc; sc in next sp. Repeat from * across, ending with half dc, ch 1 and half dc. Ch 1, turn. Repeat 2nd row until piece is square. Break off. Line with felt. Sc closely around bone ring. Sew in place.
