Starting at center, ch 2. 1st rnd: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 2nd rnd: 2 sc in each sc around. 3rd rnd: * Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc (1 sc increased). Repeat from * around. 4th rnd: Sc in each sc around, increasing 6 sc evenly around. Repeat 4th rnd until piece measures 6 ½ inches in diameter, half dc in next sc, dc in next sc, tr in next sc, d tr in next sc, tr in next sc, dc in next sc, half dc in next sc, sc in next sc, sl st in next sc. Break off. With pin, mark sc directly opposite d tr. Attach thread to 3rd sc preceding pin mark, ch 4, tr in next sc, dc in each of next 3 sc, tr in next 2 sc. Break off.

Trim with rick-rack, sequins and beads as desired. Make another piece the same way. Sew pieces together. Sew brass ring at top.
