FRONT SECTION. With Green, ch 5, join to form a ring, ch 3 (counts as 1 d c) and work 11 more d c in ring, join.
2nd Row—Ch 3, 4 d c in same space, s c in next d c, * 5 d c in next d c, s c in next d c, repeat from * all around, join, break thread.
3rd Row—Attach White in s c between petals, ch 3, 4 d c in same space, s c in center st of next petal, * 5 d c in s c between next 2 petals, s c in center st of next petal, repeat from * all around, join.
4th Row—1 d c in each d c and 5 d c in each s c, join.
5th Row—With Green, 1 s c in each d c, join.
6th Row—With White, 1 d c in each st increasing 1 d c in every 3rd st, (80 d c) join each row.
In the following rows the thread is carried underneath. When changing Color always complete the last half of st with next color.
7th Row—With White, ch 3, 1 d c in each of the next 6 d c, with Green, puff st in next st (puff st: thread over needle, insert in st and pull loop up the length of a d c, * thread over needle, insert in same st and pull loop up same length, repeat from * twice, thread over and pull through all loops on needle at one time but one, thread over and pull through 2 loops) * with White, 1 d c in each of the next 7 d c, with Green, puff st in next st, repeat from * all around.
8th Row—With Green, puff st in same space, * with White, 2 d c in next d c, 1 d c in each of the next 3 d c, 2 d c in next d c, with Green, 1 puff st in each of the next 3 sts, repeat from * all around ending row with 2 puff sts in Green.
9th Row—With Green, puff st in puff st, puff st in next d c, * with White, 1 d c in each of the next 5 d c, with Green, 1 puff st in each of the next 5 sts, repeat from * all around ending row with Green, 1 puff st in last d c, 1 puff st in each of the next 2 puff sts.
10th Row—With Green, puff st in next puff st, * with White, 1 d c in next puff st, 1 d c in each of the next 2 d c, 2 d c in next d c, 1 d c in each of the next 2 d c, 1 d c in next puff st, with Green, 1 puff st in each of the next 3 puff sts, repeat from * all around ending row with 2 puff sts in Green.
11th Row—With White, ch 3, d c in same space, * 1 d c in each of the next 2 d c, 2 d c in next st, repeat from * twice, with Green, puff st in next puff st, ** with White, 2 d c in next puff st, 1 d c in each of the next 2 sts, * 2 d c in next d c, 1 d c in each of the next 2 d c, repeat from *, 2 d c in next puff st, with Green, puff st in next puff st, re­peat from ** all around.
12th Row—With White, 1 d c in each d c and 3 d c in each puff st.
13th Row—With Green, 1 s c in each d c increasing 1 s c in every 15th st, break thread.
BACK SECTION. Work first 6 rows same as front section.
7th Row—With White, 1 d c in each d c.
8th Row—Increase in every 4th st.
9th Row—Increase in every 10th st.
10th Row—Increase in every 5th st.
11th Row—Increase in every 6th st.
12th Row—Increase in every 7th st.
13th Row—With Green, 1 s c in each d c increasing 4 sts evenly spaced in row.
Crochet the 2 sections together with Green, * 1 s c in each of the next 6 s c, ch 2, d c in same space, ch 3, sl st in top of last d c for picot, d c in same space, ch 2, sl st in same space, repeat from * all around, working a loop after last 6 s c, (loop: ch 15, turn, sl st in same space, ch 1, turn and work 26 s c over ch.)
