MATERIALS:
CLARK'S O.N.T. COTTON RUG YARN, 3 balls will make 2 pairs of pot holders.
Steel Crochet Hook No. 2/0 (double zero).
Ch 27 (to measure 7 inches). 1st row: Sc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across (25 sts). Ch 2, turn. 2nd row: Sc in 1st sc, * ch 2, (yarn over, insert hook in same place as last sc and pull loop through) 3 times; yarn over and draw through all loops on hook (a cluster made). Skip 2 sc, sc in next sc. Repeat from * across (8 clusters). Ch 2, turn. 3rd row: Sc in 1st sc, * sc in top of cluster, sc in ch-2, sc in next sc. Repeat from * across (25 sts). Ch 2, turn. Repeat 2nd and 3rd rows alternately until all edges measure 7 inches, ending with 3rd row. Fasten off. Work a row of sc along both edges at end of rows. Fasten off. Make an-other piece same as this.
CORD . . . Cut 4 strands of yarn each 60 inches long. Twist these strands tightly, then double the twisted strands and give them a second twist in the op¬posite direction. Tie a knot at each end. Sew a pot holder to each end of Cord.
