Ch 29. 1st row: Dc in 8th ch from hook, (ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch) 3 times; dc in next 3 ch, (ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch) 3 times. Ch 5, turn. 2nd row: Dc in next dc, (ch 2, dc in next dc) twice (3 sps over 3 sps made); dc in 3 dc (bl over bl made); (ch 2, dc in next dc) 3 times; ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch. Ch 7, turn. 3rd row: Dc in next dc (1 sp increased), make 3 more sps, 2 dc in next sp, dc in next dc (bl over sp made), ch 2, skip 2 dc, dc in next dc (sp over bl made), make 2 more sps, ch 2, dc in 3rd st of turning ch. Ch 5, turn. 4th row: 4 sps, 1 bl, 4 sps, ch 5, dc in same place as last dc, turn, sl st in 3 ch (1 sp increased). Ch 7, do not turn. 5th row: Dc in same place as last sl st (1 sp increased), now follow chart across. Ch 5, turn. 6th and 7th rows: Follow chart. Ch 5, turn. 8th row: 1 sp, 3 bls, 1 sp, 2 bls, 2 sps, 4 bls, ch 5, dc in same place as last dc, turn, sl st in 5 ch, sl st in dc (1 sp decreased). Ch 5, do not turn. 9th row: Dc in next dc and follow chart across. Ch 5, turn. 10th row: Follow chart across to last sp. Do not work over last sp (1 sp decreased). Turn. 11th row: Sl st in 2 ch and next dc, ch 5 and follow chart across. Ch 5, turn. Now follow chart to top. Repeat chart for length desired. Fasten off. Attach thread in 1st sp made and work sc closely along scalloped edge. Fasten off.
