Clark's O.N.T. Mercerized Crochet.
J. & P. Coats Mercerized Crochet.
J. & P. Coats Big Ball Best Six Cord Mercerized Crochet.
Clark's Big Ball Mercerized Crochet.

Materials: About 18 yds. are required for 1 curtain pull.
Milward's steel crochet hook No. 5 or 6.
A bone ring, 1 inch in diameter.

Medallion. Make 45 s c in ring. Join with sl st. 1st rnd: * S c in each of next 6 s c, ch 3, skip 4 s c, d c in next s c, ch 3, d c in same s c, ch 3, skip 4 s c. Repeat from * around (3 s c-groups and 3 d c-groups). 2nd rnd: * S c in each of 5 s c of 6-s c group, ch 8, 3 d c in ch-3 sp, ch 3, 3 d c in same sp, ch 8. Repeat from * around. 3rd rnd: * S c in each of 4 s c of 5-s c group, ch 8, 8 d c in ch-3 sp, ch 8. Repeat from * around. 4th rnd: * S c in each of 3 s c of 4-s c group, ch 8, d c in each d c of 8-d c group with ch-1 between each d c, ch 8. Repeat from * around. 5th rnd: * S c in 2 s c of 3-s c group, ch 8, d c in each d c with a ch-3 p between each d c, ch 8. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st. Do not break off but continue for cord as follows:

Cord. Make a chain to measure about 12½ inches; s c in a ch st 5 inches from hook (thus making a loop), s c in each ch across. Fasten and break off.
