Materials: About 14 yds. are required for 1 curtain pull.
Milward's steel crochet hook No. 5 or 6.
A ring 2½ inches in diameter, in any desired color.
3 large size beads.

Starting at ring, make 31 s c in ring. Ch 1, turn. 1st row: S c in each s c across. Ch 1, turn. 2nd row: Skip 2nd s c (1 s c decreased), s c in each of next 12 s c, ch 5, skip 4 s c, s c in each of next 12 s c (2 s c decreased). Ch 1, turn. 3rd row: Skip 2nd s c, s c in each s c across to within 2 s c from end, making 5 s c in ch-5 loop. Ch 1, turn. 4th row: Skip 2nd s c, s c in each s c to within 2 s c from 5-s c in loop, ch 5, skip 4 s c, make s c in each of center 3 s c of loop, ch 5, skip 4 s c, s c in each s c across to within 2 s c from end. Ch 1, turn. 5th row: Work as for 3rd row, making a ch-5 loop over 3 s c between loops of previous row. Hereafter work in this manner, decreasing at edges until 2 sts remain.

Cord. Work as for cord of No. 908, but making twists only, and inserting beads while working, ½ inch apart. Fasten cord in place (see illustration).
