Materials:
Chadwick's Red Heart Baby Wool, 4 balls (¾ oz. balls).
Bone Crochet Hook No. 6

Ch 8. 1st row: In 8th ch from hook make tr, ch 3 and tr. Ch 4, turn. 2nd row: Holding back the last loop of each tr on hook make 2 tr in top of last tr, yarn over and draw through all loops on hook (cluster made), ch 3, holding back the last loop of each tr on hook make 3 tr in same place as last cluster, yarn over and draw through all loops on hook, ch 3, in next tr make 3 clus­ters with ch 3 between, ch 3, skip 3 sts of turning chain, in next ch make cluster, ch 3 and cluster. Ch 7, turn. 3rd row: Tr in top of 1st cluster, * ch 3, tr in top of next cluster. Repeat from * to center cluster of row below; ch 3, in top of center cluster make 3 tr with ch 3 between; ** ch 3, tr in top of next cluster. Repeat from ** to last cluster, ch 3, in top of last clus­ter make tr, ch 3 and tr. Ch 4, turn. 4th row: In 1st tr make cluster, ch 3 and cluster, * ch 3, cluster in next tr. Repeat from * to center tr of row below; ch 3, in center tr make 3 clusters with ch 3 between; ** ch 3, cluster in next tr. Repeat from ** ending with clus­ter, ch 3 and cluster in 4th st of turning chain. Ch 7, turn. Repeat 3rd and 4th rows alternately until piece measures 18 inches from start to center point, ending with 3rd row. Ch 4, turn.

EDGING: 1st row: * In next tr make 2 clusters with ch 3 between, ch 3, in next sp make 2 clusters with ch 3 between, ch 3, cluster in next tr, ch 3, in next sp make 2 clusters with ch 3 between. Repeat from * across. Ch 5, turn. 2nd row: * Sc in next ch-3 sp, ch 5. Repeat from * across. Break off.
