EDGING No. 8358-A … Two-color edging—suggest Ecru and Brown.
1st row: With dark color ch 10, s c in 10th ch from hook. Ch 10, turn. 2nd row: S c in s c of previous row. Ch 10, turn. Repeat 2nd row for desired length. Fasten off. 3rd row: Attach light color to 1st loop and, working along long side, make s c in same loop, * ch 5, s c in same loop, ch 2, s c in next loop. Repeat from * across. Ch 4, turn. 4th row: * In next ch-5 loop make 7 d c with ch-1 between each d c; s c in next ch-5 loop. Repeat from * across, ending with 7 d c with ch-1 between each d c. Fasten off. 5th row: Attach dark color to 1st ch-1, s c in same ch-1, * ch 3, s c in next ch-1. Repeat from * 4 more times, ch 2, s c in ch-1 of next 7-d c group, ch 3 and continue thus across. Fasten off. 6th row: Attach dark color to 1st loop at opposite side, s c in same loop, * ch 2, 2 s c in next loop. Repeat from * across. Fasten off.
INSERTION No. 8358-B … Two-color insertion—suggest Ecru and Brown.
Work exactly as for Edging to 5th row incl. Fasten off. Next row: Attach light color to 1st loop on opposite side and repeat 3rd to 5th rows incl. of Edging. Fasten off.
