Two-color edging—suggest White and French Blue.
1st row: With dark color, ch 5, s c in 5th ch from hook. Ch 5, turn. 2nd row: S c in s c of previous row. Ch 5, turn. Repeat 2nd row for desired length. Fasten off. 3rd row: Attach light color to 1st loop, ch 5 and, working along long side, * s c in next loop, ch 5. Repeat from * across. Ch 4, turn. 4th row: 2 tr in 1st loop, holding back the last loop of each tr on hook; thread over and draw through all loops on hook, ch 5, 3 tr in same loop, holding back the last loop of each tr on hook; thread over and draw through all loops on hook, ch 1 (2 clusters made); * cluster in each of next 2 loops, ch 5, cluster in same loop as last cluster. Repeat from * across. Ch 5, turn. 5th row: * S c in next ch-5 loop, ch 3, 3 clusters in next ch-5 loop, with ch-5 between each cluster; ch 5. Repeat from * across. Fasten off. 6th row: Attach dark color to 1st loop, 2 s c in same loop, s c in next s c, 3 s c in next loop, * ch 5, 5 s c in next loop, ch 5, 5 s c in next loop, ch 5, 5 s c in each of next 2 loops. Repeat from * across, ending with 5 s c in last loop. Fasten off.
HEADING … Attach light color to 1st loop on opposite side and, working along long side, make s c in same loop, * ch 3, s c in next loop. Repeat from * across. Fasten off.
