Two-color edging—suggest White and China Blue.
1st row: With light color, ch 6, 3 d c in 6th ch from hook. Ch 6, turn. 2nd row: 3 d c in last d c made. Ch 6, turn. Repeat 2nd row for desired length. Fasten off.
HEADING … Attach dark color to 1st ch-6 loop and work along long side as follows: 1st row: Ch 3, d c in d c at base of 1st loop, * d c in base of same d c, ch 3, s c in next loop, ch 3, d c in d c at base of same loop. Repeat from * across, ending with 2 d c. Ch 4, turn. 2nd row: * S c in next ch-3, ch 3. Repeat from * across. Fasten off.
EDGING … 1st row: Attach dark color to d c of 1st d c-group at opposite side and work along other long side as follows: Ch 3, * d c at base of same d c, ch 9, skip 1 group, d c at base of next d c-group. Repeat from * across. Ch 2, turn. 2nd row: Skip 2 ch, * d c in next ch, ch 1; in next ch make tr, ch 1 and tr; ch 1, d c in next ch, ch 2, skip 1 ch, d c in next ch, skip 2 ch of next ch-9, d c in next ch, ch 2, skip 1 ch. Repeat from * across. Fasten off.
