   1st rnd: Starting at center with Mercerized Crochet and working over a double strand of "Speed-Cro-Sheen," make 24 sc. Join with sl st to form ring. 2nd rnd: Ch 1, working over the double strand and picking up back loop only, make 2 sc in each sc around. Join (48 sc). 3rd rnd: Ch 1, working over double strand and picking up back loop only, sc in each sc around. Join. Cut off "Speed-Cro-Sheen." 4th rnd: * Ch 5, skip next sc, working through both loops sc in next sc. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 2, dc in sl st (24 loops). 5th rnd: Sl st in loop just formed, ch 4, holding back on hook the last loop of each tr, make 2 tr in same loop, thread over and draw through all loops on hook (cluster made), * ch 5, in next loop make 3-tr cluster. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 2, dc in tip of first cluster. 6th rnd: Sc in loop just formed, * ch 5, sc in next loop. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 2, dc in first sc. 7th rnd: Sc in loop just formed, * ch 7, sc in next loop. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 3, tr in first sc. 8th rnd: Repeat 7th rnd, making ch 9 (instead of ch-7) and ending with ch 4, d tr in first sc. 9th rnd: Repeat 7th rnd, making ch 11 (instead of ch-7) and ending with ch 6, d tr in first sc. 10th and 11th rnds: Repeat 7th rnd, making ch 13 (instead of ch-7) and ending with ch 7, tr tr in first sc. 12th rnd: Working over a double strand of "Speed-Cro-Sheen," sc in loop just formed, * 8 sc over the double strand, sc in next loop. Repeat from * around. Join (216 sc). 13th rnd: Ch 1, working over the double strand and picking up back loop only, * sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc. Repeat from * around (270 sc). Sl st in next sc.    16th rnd: Work as for 6th rnd, ending with ch 5, sl st in first sc. 17th rnd: Sl st in next loop, ch 4, complete cluster in same loop as before, (ch 5, cluster in next loop) 12 times; * (ch 5, sc in next loop) twice; (ch 5, cluster in next loop) 13 times. RUFFLE … 1st rnd: * Ch 5, skip 3 sc, sc in next sc. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 2, dc in sl st (157 loops). 2nd rnd: Sc in loop just formed, ch 8, * in next loop make (dc, ch 5) twice. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 2, dc in 3rd ch of ch-8. 3rd rnd: Sc in loop just formed, ch 9, dc in next loop, * ch 6, dc in next loop. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 3, dc in 3rd ch of ch-9. 4th rnd: Sc in loop just formed, * ch 7, dc in next loop. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 3, tr in first sc. 5th and 6th rnds: Repeat 4th rnd, increasing 1 ch in each loop of each rnd. 7th rnd: Sc in loop just formed, * ch 7, in next loop make tr, ch 5, dc in top of the tr, then make another tr in same loop (a looped V st made), ch 7, sc in next loop.
