We suggest thread in sizes 30 to 70

Two-color edging—suggest Pink and Blue.

CENTER … 1st row: With first color ch 6, d c in 6th ch from hook; ch 2, d c in same ch. Ch 5, turn. 2nd row: Make d c, ch 2 and d c in ch-2 sp. Ch 5, turn. Repeat 2nd row for desired length. Fasten off.

HEADING … 1st row: With contrasting color make s c in last ch-5 loop, * ch 3, skip d c, tr under next ch-2, ch 3, s c in next ch-5 loop. Repeat from * across. Ch 3, turn. 2nd row: * 2 d c in sp, d c in tr, 2 d c in sp, d c in s c. Repeat from * across. Fasten off.

LOWER EDGE … With contrasting color, working from same side as last row of heading, join thread under 1st d c of center, ch 3, * 3 d c in next ch-5 loop, ch 5, sl st into 4th ch from hook, ch 4, sl st into same place as last sl st, ch 1, 3 d c in same loop as last 3 d c. Repeat from *, ending with ch 3, s c under last d c of center.
