LACE CORNER … 1st row: Attach thread to 12th s c to right of corner and on diagonal line, ch 10, skip 6 s c, s c in next s c. Ch 3, cluster in ch-10 loop just made—to make a cluster, make 2 tr in loop, holding back the last loop of each tr on hook; thread over and draw through all loops on hook; ch 1 to fasten. (Ch 2, cluster in same place) 8 times; ch 2, skip 2 s c, s c in next 2 s c. Ch 3, turn. 2nd to 4th rows incl: * S c in next sp, ch 3. Repeat from * across (10 sps), ch 2, skip 1 s c, s c in next 2 s c. Ch 3, turn (13 sps in 4th row). 5th row: Skip 1st loop, * in next loop make 4 clusters with ch-2 between each cluster, skip next loop. Repeat from * across (6 cluster-groups), ch 2, skip 1 s c, s c in next 2 s c. Ch 3, turn. 6th row: * S c in next sp, ch 5. Repeat from * across, ch 2, skip 2 s c, s c in next 2 s c (corner).
