Working very loosely, ch 28 with Blue Jewel, turn. 1st row: 1 half d c in 4th ch from hook and in each st of ch, ch 2, turn. 2nd to 30th rows incl: 1 half d c in each st, ch 2, turn. Work should now measure about 9 inches. Break thread, without making the ch-2 to turn at end of 30th row. Attach Skipper Blue, then ch 2, turn. 1st row: 1 half d c in each of first 13 sts, ch 2, 1 half d c in same st as last half d c, 1 half d c in each of remaining sts of row, ch 2, turn. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rows: 1 half d c in each st, and over ch-2 make: 1 half d c, ch 2, 1 half d c. Break thread at end of 4th row, attach Blue Jewel, then ch 2, turn and work next 4 rows making increases over increases, and the following 4 rows in Skipper Blue with increases, then 4 rows in Blue Jewel again with increases, and finish off with 4 rows of Skipper Blue. This completes one half of the scarf. Now attach Blue Jewel to 1st row which is the center back, and work other half of scarf to correspond.
