MATERIALS: Clark's O.N.T. Cotton Rug Yarn, 22 balls of Steel Blue … Clark's O.N.T. Rug Hook, Size G.

Use Two Strands Throughout.

Starting at center, ch 2 loosely. 1st rnd: 14 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with sl st. 2nd rnd: Ch 2 (insert hook in same place as sl st and draw loop through to height of ch-2, yarn over hook) 4 times; draw through all loops on hook (cluster made). Make a cluster in each sc around. Join with sl st. 3rd rnd: 2 sc in back loop of each cluster (28 sc). Join. 4th rnd: Repeat 2nd rnd. 5th rnd: Sc in back loop of each cluster, increasing 14 sc evenly around—to inc 1 sc, make 2 sc in 1 cluster. Repeat 4th and 5th rnds alternately until Rug measures 31 inches in diameter, ending with an sc rnd. Break off.
