YARN … Be sure to buy sufficient yarn of the same dye lot to complete the rug you wish to make. It is impossible to avoid slight variations in color in different dye lots.
LAUNDERING … Dissolve a generous quantity of mild soap-flakes in lukewarm water. Squeeze the suds through the rug until it is clean—never rub or wring. Rinse thoroughly to remove the soap. Lay flat and allow to dry. Do not use a washing machine or pass rug through a wringer.
RINGS … Sew rubber rings at corners of wrong side to prevent rug from slipping.
