Ch 14, join with sl st, * 10 s c in ring, ch 5 for p (to make a p, 1 s c in 1st st of ch-5), 5 s c in same ring, ch 14, joining to ring by dropping st from hook and inserting hook in 6th s c from p, then catch dropped st, and draw through. Work 7 s c on ch, p, 7 s c on same ch, and continue working scallops in this way. Work the other side in same way.
