This triangular stole is equally effective in smaller size—just stop working when size fits you.

3, 3 oz. sks (MC) Black 809
2, 3 oz. sks (CC) White 801
1 Crochet Hook each No. 2 and No. 5

PATTERN:
Cluster: Insert hook in ch, draw up a loop measuring 1", YO, insert hook in same ch, draw up another loop measuring 1", YO and draw through 3 loops, YO, draw through 2 loops, ch 1.
With crochet hook No. 5 & MC, ch 6. Insert hook in 6th ch from hook and work 5 Cls. in this ch. Ch 5, turn. Row 2: Work 2 Cls. in first Cl., one Cl. in next Cl., then 5 Cls. in center Cl., one Cl each in next 2 Cls.; ending with a Cl in top of turning ch. Ch 5, turn. Row 3: Make 2 Cls., in first Cl. and one Cl. each in next 4 Cls., then 5 Cls. in center Cl. of group of 5 made in previous row, and one Cl. each in next 5 Cls.; ending with a Cl. in top of turning Ch. Ch. 5, turn. Repeat Row 3 until there are 26 rows from beg and having 6 Cls more in each row.
EDGING: With CC and crochet hook No. 2, attach yarn to first Cl. of last row, sc in same st. * Ch 5, sc in center of next Cl *; repeat from * to * around the 2 edges of the triangle (however, in center Cl. at point of triangle, sc, ch 5 and sc again in same st); ending with a sc in top of turning ch. Ch 5, turn. 2nd Row: * Sc in next ch-5 space, ch 5 *; repeat from * to * around, working a sc, ch 5 and sc in the center ch-5 space of previous row; ending with a sc in last ch-5 space, ch 2, dc in sc. Ch 1, turn. 3rd and 4th Rows: Sc in dc, ch 5, sc in next ch-5 space and work the same as 2nd row. 5th Row: Sc in dc, * ch 2, sc in next ch-5 space *; repeat from * to * around; ending the same way as in previous row.
