Entire rug is made with a double strand of yarn if Article 75 or Article 44 is used. Use one strand of yarn if Article 235 is used.
With Blue ch 69, s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in each remaining st of ch, ch 1 to turn each row.
2nd Row. 1 loop st in each st (loop st: wind yarn over index finger, insert hook in st, draw yarn through pulling yarn from under finger, drop loop from finger letting loop fall to right side of work and complete s c).
3rd Row. 1 s c in each loop st.
4th Row. 1 loop st in each s c.
Repeat the 3rd and 4th rows 3 times, then repeat 3rd row once.
12th Row. 1 loop st in each of the next 10 s c, 1 s c in each of the next 48 s c, 1 loop st in each of the next 10 s c.
13th Row. 1 s c in each s c.
Repeat the 12th and 13th rows 42 times.
Next Row. 1 loop st in each s c.
Next Row. 1 s c in each loop st.
Repeat the last 2 rows 4 times, break yarn. Using a double strand of yarn embroider design in cross st following chart.
