MATERIALS:
J. & P. Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen: 1 ball of No. 40 French Rose, and
J. & P. Coats or Clark's O.N.T. Pearl Cotton, Size 5: 2 balls of No. 48 Hunter's Green and 1 ball of No. 81 Dk. Brown.
Milward's Steel Crochet Hook No. 7.
A blue bath towel, hand towel and washcloth.

SPRAY—CHERRY (Make 3) ... Starting at center with French Rose, ch 2. 1st rnd: 7 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join to first sc. Now work in rows as follows: 1st row: 3 sc in same place as sl st, sc and half dc in next sc, 2 dc in each of next 3 sc, half dc and sc in next sc, 3 sc in next sc. Turn. 2nd row: * Sc in first st, 2 sc in next st. Repeat from * across. Turn. 3rd row: Sc in each sc across, sc along top of Cherry. Sl st in first sc. Break off.

STEM ... Cut one strand of Green 24 inches long, double and draw through top of Cherry. With double strand, ch 12. Break off.

LARGE LEAF ... Starting at center with Green, ch 15. 1st rnd: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next ch, half dc in next ch, dc in each ch across to within last 3 ch, half dc in next ch, sc in next 2 ch, ch 3, work along opposite side of starting chain to cor­respond. Join and break off.

SMALL LEAF (Make 2) ... Work as for Large Leaf making ch 12 at center instead of ch 15.

BRANCH ... Starting at long side with Brown, ch 40. 1st row: Half dc in 3rd ch from hook and in next 14 ch, sc in next 12 ch, sl st in next 6 ch. Break off, leaving last 5 ch free.

Make 4 more sprays in this manner and sew across bath towel. Make 4 sprays for hand towel and 1 spray for washcloth. Sew in place.
