Motif measures about 3¼ inches.

Ch 8, join to form a ring.

1st Row. Ch 3, 23 d c in in ring, join. (Join each row.)

2nd Row. Ch 6, skip 2 d c, s c in next d c, ch 6, repeat from beginning 6 times, join.

3rd Row. Ch 1, 4 s c in loop, ch 3, 4 s c in same loop and repeat from beginning all around.

4th Row. Sl st into ch 3, ch 4, tr c in the same loop leaving the last st on needle, tr c in the same loop leaving the last st on needle, thread over and take off all loops at once, this makes the cluster, ch 5, 3 tr c cluster in the same loop, * ch 5, cluster st in the next ch 3 loop, ch 5, cluster st in the same loop. Repeat from beginning all around.

5th Row. Ch 4, cluster st in same space, ch 1, * work a cluster st in the top of the next cluster st, ch 3, d c in center st of ch, ch 3, d c in the same st of ch, ch 3, cluster st in next cluster st, ch 1, repeat from * all around.

6th Row. Sl st between cluster sts, * ch 7, s c in ch 3 between the 2 d c of last row, ch 7, s c between cluster sts, repeat from * all around.

7th Row. Ch 1, work 4 s c, ch 4, 2 s c, ch 4, 4 s c over each loop.

8th Row. Sl st in center of picot, ch 6, d c in next picot, * ch 5, d c in next picot, ch 3, d c in next picot, repeat from * all around.

9th Row. Crochet several of any of these 4 designs and use as dress trimming, either scattered on the skirt or as collar and cuff trims.
