These doilies may be made with any of the American Thread Company products listed below:

Leaf: With Green starting at lower edge, ch 3, 2 d c in 3rd st from hook, ch 3, turn.
2nd Row—D c in same space, 1 d c in next d c, 2 d c in next st, ch 3, turn.
3rd Row—2 d c in same space, 1 d c in each of the next 3 d c, 3 d c in end st, ch 3, turn.
4th Row—1 s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in next st of ch, 1 d c in each of the next 8 d c, 3 d c in next st, ch 1, turn.
5th Row—Sl st in each of the next 2 d c, ch 3, 2 d c in next d c, 1 d c in each of the next 7 d c, 3 d c in next d c, ch 3, turn.
6th Row—2 d c in same space, 1 d c in each of the next 11 d c, 2 d c in next st, ch 3, turn.
7th Row—1 s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in next st of ch, 1 d c in each of the next 11 d c, 3 d c in next d c, ch 3, turn.
8th Row—Same as 6th row.
9th Row—2 d c in same space, 1 d c in each of the next 11 d c, 3 d c in next d c, ch 3, turn.
10th Row—1 s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in next st of ch, 1 d c in each of the next 17 sts, ch 1, turn.
11th Row—1 sl st in each of next 3 d c, ch 3, 1 d c in each of next 13 d c, ch 3, turn.
12th Row—Same as 9th row.
13th Row—1 s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in next st of ch, 1 d c in each of next 14 d c, ch 1, turn.
14th Row—Sl st in each of the next 2 d c, ch 3, 1 d c in each of next 10 d c, ch 1, turn.
15th Row—Sl st in each of next 3 d c, ch 3, 1 d c in each of next 6 d c, ch 1, turn.
16th Row—Sl st in each of next 3 d c, ch 2, 1 d c in each of next 3 d c keeping last loop of each d c on hook, thread over and pull through all loops at one time, break thread. Work 11 more leaves in same manner.

IF YOU ARE MAKING BASIC DOILY No. 1—Attach White in any s c of last row of center, ch 4, 2 tr c in same space keeping last loop of each tr c on hook, thread over and pull through all loops at one time, ch 3, sl st in top of cluster st for picot, ch 4, s c in next loop, ch 1 and with 5 point side of leaf towards center, sl st in 1st point of leaf from lower edge, ch 1, sl st in same s c on center, * ch 4, tr c cluster st in next s c on center, (tr c cluster st: 3 tr c in same space keeping last loop of each tr c on hook, thread over and pull through all loops at one time), ch 3, sl st in top of cluster st for picot, ch 4, s c in next loop on center, ch 1, sl st in next point of same leaf, ch 1, sl st in same s c on center, repeat from * once, ch 4, tr c cluster st in next s c on center, picot, ch 4, s c in next loop, picot, ch 4, tr c cluster st in next s c, picot, ch 4, s c in next loop, ch 1, sl st in 1st point from lower edge of next leaf, ch 1, sl st in same s c on center, repeat from 1st * until all leaves are joined, break thread.
BERRY: With Red ch 2, 8 s c in 2nd st from hook, without joining rows, work 2 s c in each s c.
3rd and 4th Rows—1 s c in each s c.
5th Row—1 s c in next s c, decrease in next 2 sts (to decrease: * insert hook in next st, pull loop through, repeat from *, thread over and pull through all loops at one time), repeat from beginning all around. Fill with cotton or Red yarn, then decrease every other st until 3 sts remain, draw together, break thread leaving an end. Work 11 more berries in same manner and sew in position as illustrated.

IF YOU ARE MAKING BASIC CENTER No. 2—Work 10 leaves same as for basic center No. 1 joining to center as follows: attach White in 1 st d c of any d c group, ch 3, 1 d c in each of the next 3 d c, ch 1, join in 1st point from lower edge of leaf always having the 5 point side of leaf next to center, * ch 1, d c in same space on center, 1 d c in each of the next 3 d c, ch 3, s c in next loop, ch 3, sl st in next point of same leaf, ch 3, s c in next loop on center, ch 3, 1 d c in each of the next 4 d c, ch 1, sl st in next point of same leaf, ch 1, d c in same space on center, 1 d c in each of the next 3 d c, ch 3, s c in next loop, ch 7, sl st in 4th st from hook for picot, ch 3, s c in next loop, ch 3, 1 s c in each of the next 4 d c, ch 1, sl st in 1st point from lower edge of next leaf, repeat from * until all leaves are joined, break thread. Work 20 berries same as for Basic Center No. 1 and sew in position between leaves as illustrated catching the lower edge of leaf and next free point of previous leaf when sewing.
