Materials Required—
AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "STAR" COTTON YARN, ARTICLE 75 OR "STAR" RUG YARN, ARTICLE 44
1 skein Green.
1 skein Yellow.
1 skein White will make all three potholders.
Steel Crochet Hook No. 0.

With Green, ch 2, 8 s c in 2nd st from hook, do not turn or join rows. Place a marker at beginning of each row. Yarn is carried in back and always worked over with next Color.
2nd Row—3 s c in 1st s c, drop Green, attach White (when changing Color always complete last half of st with next Color), 1 s c in next s c, drop White, pick up Green, 3 s c in next s c, drop Green, attach Yellow, 1 s c in next s c, drop Yellow, pick up Green, 3 s c in next s c, drop Green, pick up White, 1 s c in next s c, drop White, pick up Green, 3 s c in next s c, drop Green, pick up Yellow, s c in next s c.
3rd Row—With Green, 3 s c in next s c, 1 s c in each of the next 2 s c, with White, 1 s c in next s c, with Green, 3 s c in next s c, 1 s c in each of the next 2 s c, with Yellow, 1 s c in next s c, repeat from beginning all around.
4th Row—With Green, 3 s c in next s c, 1 s c in each of the next 4 s c, with White, 1 s c in next s c, with Green, 3 s c in next s c, 1 s c in each of the next 4 s c, with Yellow, 1 s c in next s c, repeat from beginning all around.
Continue working all around in same manner until there are 17 Green s c between spokes, join, break White.
Next Row—Attach White in 1st before White spoke, 3 s c in same space, * with Green, 1 s c in each of the next 17 s c, with Yellow, 3 s c in next s c, with Green, 1 s c in each of the next 17 s c, with White, 3 s c in next s c, repeat from * all around in same manner.
