SUGGESTED MATERIALS FOR CURTAIN PULLS

"Star" Mercerized Crochet Cotton. Medium or Large Balls size 3, 5 or 10.
"Trojan" Mercerized Crochet Cotton. 66 "Gem" Mercerized Crochet Cotton size 10.
"Puritan" Mercerized Crochet Cotton. "De Luxe" Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton.

Materials Required. About 35 yds. of Thread.
1 ⅞-inch Bone Ring.
Steel Crochet Hook No. 10 or 11.

Work 45 s c over ring, join.
2nd Row—Ch 4, skip 2 s c, s c in next s c, repeat all around (15 loops).
3rd Row—Sl st to center of loop and work s c over same loop, * ch 3, s c over next loop, repeat from * twice, ch 3, 2 d c over next loop, ch 3, 2 d c over same loop, * ch 3, s c in next loop, repeat from * 3 times and continue all around ending row in 1st s c made.
4th Row—3 s c over each of the next 3 loops, ch 5, 3 d c in center of shell, ch 3, 3 d c in same space, ch 5, skip 1 loop and repeat from beginning all around ending row in 1st s c made.
5th Row—Ch 5, 1 s c in each of the 3 center s c, ch 5, skip 2 s c, s c in next s c, ch 5, d c in 1st d c at corner, ch 4, sl st in 4th st from hook for picot, d c in next d c, picot, d c in next d c, picot, d c in center of shell, picot, 1 d c in each d c with picot between each d c, ch 5, s c in 1st s c, repeat from beginning all around, do not break thread.

CORD. Sl st to 1st s c, 1 s c in each s c, * ch 4, turn, skip 1 s c, d c in next s c, ch 1, turn, 3 s c over ch, repeat from * until cord is desired length.
