BLOCK—Ch 11, join with sl st to form ring. ROW 1—Ch 3, 23 dc in ring. Join with sl st to top of ch-3. ROW 2—(Ch 7, sk 1 dc, sl st in next 2 dc) 7 times, ch 3, sk 1 dc, dc in next dc. ROW 3—* Ch 17, remove hook from lp, insert it back in 6th st of ch (counting from beg.), catch lp and draw thru forming a ch-11 ring out on left side of ch. Ch 1, in ring make 1 sc, 1 hdc, 15 dc, 1 hdc and 1 sc. Sc around ch at base of ring, ch 5, sc in next ch-7 lp. Repeat from * 7 times. Cut 6" long, thread to a needle and fasten off on back of center circle. ROW 4—Sc in 5th st up side of a ring, (ch 5, sk 1 dc, sc in next dc) 4 times, * ch 3, sk 1 dc, dc in next dc, dc in 5th st on next ring, ch 3, sk 1 dc, sc in next dc, (ch 5, sk 1 dc, sc in next dc) 3 times. Repeat from * around. Join with sc in 1st ch-5 lp. ROW 5—* (Ch 6, sc in next ch-5 lp) 3 times, ch 6, sc between dc in angle. Repeat from * around. Make and join 252 Blocks 14 x 18.
Stretch and pin cloth right-side-down on curtain or quilting frames. Lay frames over an ironing board or padded table a section at a time. Steam and press each section dry thru a cloth until completely blocked.
