Hairpin Lace Belt

Leaving 16 inches free at the beginning, make a strip of hairpin lace slightly shorter than desired waist measurement, making 2 sc in each loop on each side of strip. Measure off 16 inches at end and break off. Make 2 more strips the same way. (More)


Oblong Casserole Jacket

BOTTOM . . . Starting at short side, make a chain slightly longer than bottom of dish. 1st row: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch across until row measures width of dish. Cut off remaining chain. Ch 1, turn. 2nd row: Sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn. Repeat 2nd row until piece is same length as bottom of dish.
