Materials Required - AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "GEM" COTTON YARN.
3 Skeins Red. 1 Skein Black. 2 Snaps.
Bone Crochet Hook Number 4 or 5.
Front Section. With Red, ch 39 and work 38 s c on ch, ch 1, turn and work 14 rows even.
16th Row. Decrease 1 st both ends and work 2 rows even. Repeat the last 3 rows 3 times, break yarn.
Back Section. Ch 31 and work 30 s c on ch, ch 1, turn and work 1 row even.
3rd Row. Increase 1 st both ends and work 2 rows even. Repeat last 3 rows 3 times, then work 30 rows even. Repeat from 16th row of 1st section.
Gusset. Ch 3, and work 2 s c on ch, ch 1, turn and work even until gusset measures 24 inches. Sew gusset in position.
Pom-Poms. Wind 20 strands of Black around a 2-inch cardboard, cut both ends and tie in center, clip ends and fasten to bag.
Line with any suitable material if desired. Sew snaps at each end.
