Make a ch 27 inches long, d c in 6th ch from hook, * ch 1, skip 1 ch, d c in next ch, repeat from * until work measures 25 inches, cut off remaining ch.
2nd Row. Ch 4 turn, d c in d c, ch 1, d c in next d c, repeat from * across row. Repeat this row 10 times.
13th Row. Ch 6, turn, s c in d c, * ch 5, s c in next d c, repeat from * across row.
14th and 15th Rows. Ch 7, turn, (always add 1 ch for turning) and work 6 ch loops, then work 2 rows of 7 ch loops, 2 rows of 8 ch loops, 2 rows of 9 ch loops, and 2 rows of 10 ch loops.
24th Row. Ch 11, turn, s c in loop, * ch 5, 2 d c in next loop, ch 4, sl st in top of d c for picot, 2 d c in same loop, ch 5 and repeat from * to within the last 2 loops, ch 5, s c in next loop, ch 5, s c in loop. Break thread.
Attach thread in 3rd row of meshes and work 5 ch loops in ch of mesh. Then repeat from 14th row. Break thread.

Cuff. Make a ch 13 inches long, d c in 6th ch from hook, * ch 1, skip 1 ch, d c in next ch repeat from * until work measures 10 inches, then work 9 more rows of 1 ch meshes same as for collar. Repeat from the 13th row of collar.
Starch pieces slightly and iron while still damp.
