One 7 inch Doll
Small buckle ¾ inch long, ½ inch wide.
Sequins and small beads.

PANTS—With White and No. 7 hook ch 41, d c in 4th st from hook, 1 d c in each remaining st of ch, turn.
2nd Row—Ch 3 (counts as 1 d c), 1 d c in each d c (39 d c) , join in 3rd st of ch, ch 3, turn.
3rd Round—Working in d c increase in every 3rd st (52 d c), join, ch 3, turn.
4th Round—1 d c in each d c, join, ch 3, turn.
5th Round—1 d c in each d c, join, cut thread.
6th Round—Start leg. Attach thread in 13th st from joining on right side, ch 3, 1 d c in each of the next 25 d c, join in 3rd st of ch, ch 3, turn.
7th Round—1 d c in each d c, join, ch 3, turn. Repeat the 7th round 9 times.
17th Round—1 s c in each d c, join, cut thread.
Attach thread in same st at crotch, ch 3, 1 d c in each of the next 2 d c keeping last loop of each d c on hook, thread over and pull through all loops at one time, 1 d c in each of the next 23 d c, 1 d c in each of the next 2 sts keeping last loop of each d c on hook, thread over and pull through all loops at one time, join in 3rd st of ch, ch 3, turn. Repeat from 7th through 17th round for remainder of leg, cut thread.
Attach White in 1st st of starting ch and work 1 s c in each st (waistline), cut thread.
CHAPS—Holding work with waistline toward you, attach White in 21st st of waistline, picking up back loops of sts only, ch 3 and work 1 d c in each of the next 20 s c, ch 3, turn.
2nd Row—Working through both loops of sts work 1 d c in each d c, ch 3, turn. Repeat the last row 4 times.
7th Row—1 d c in each of the next 10 d c, ch 3, turn.
8th Row—1 d c in each d c working 2 d c in last st, ch 3, turn.
9th Row—1 d c in each d c, ch 3, turn. Repeat the last 2 rows 3 times, then repeat the 8th row once, cut thread.
Attach thread in same st of 6th row and work other leg sec­tion in same manner increasing on outside edge of section, cut thread. Attach thread at beginning of chaps and with No. 9 hook work a row of s c down side of chaps and around entire section but do not work across top, cut thread. Trim with sequins as illustrated sewing a bead in center of each sequin.
STRAP FOR BACK OF LEG—Ch 20 leaving an end on each side for sewing. Sew on inside of leg of chap in 8th row from lower edge. Work another strap in same manner and sew to opposite leg of chap.
BOLERO—Back: With White and No. 7 hook, ch 20, d c in 4th st from hook, 1 d c in each remaining st of ch, ch 3, turn.
2nd Row—1 d c in each d c, ch 3, turn. Repeat the last row 3 times.
6th Row—Start Front: 1 d c in each of the next 5 d c, ch 3, turn.
7th Row—1 d c in each of the next 5 d c, ch 3, turn.
8th Row—Increase 1 d c at end of row, ch 3, turn.
9th Row—Increase 1 d c at beginning of row, ch 3, turn.
10th Row—Same as 8th row, cut thread.
Skip 6 d c for back of neck, attach thread in next d c for opposite front, ch 3 and work 1 d c in each of the next 5 sts, ch 3 to turn each row.
Next Row—Work even.
Next Row—Increase 1 d c at beginning of row.
Next Row—Increase 1 d c at end of row.
Next Row—Increase 1 d c at beginning of row, do not turn.
Next Row—1 s c in each st of starting ch at lower back (this forms an armhole), s c in 1st st at lower edge of opposite front for 2nd armhole, 1 s c in each of the next 8 d c at lower front, then work in s c up the 3 rows of right front. Start Collar: 3 d c over end st of next row of front, 1 d c in base of same row, 3 d c over end st of next row of front, 1 d c in base of same row. 2 d c in each st across back of neck, * d c in base of next row, 3 d c over end st of next row on left front, repeat from * once, then work in s c down remainder of front and across lower edge of same front, join, cut thread.
Trim with sequins as illustrated sewing bead in center.
BELT—With Black "STAR" Six Strand Embroidery Cotton and No. 7 hook, ch 4, s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts of ch, ch 1, turn.
2nd Row—1 s c in each s c, ch 1, turn. Repeat the last row until belt measures 4½ inches.
Next 2 Rows—Decrease 1 s c at beginning of each row, cut thread. Sew buckle to straight end and finish with sequins. Place around doll's waist. Place bolero and pants on doll.
GAUNTLETS—With Black and No. 7 hook ch 18, s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in each remaining st of ch, ch 1, turn.
2nd Row—Increase 1 st at beginning of row, ch 1, turn. Repeat 2nd row until piece measures ⅞ inch, cut thread. Finish with 4 sequins as illustrated sewing together at lower edge allowing just enough space to fit over hand.
HAT—With White and No. 7 hook ch 5, join to form a ring, ch 3, 11 d c in ring, join in 3rd st of ch.
2nd Round—Ch 3, d c in same space, 2 d c in each remain­ing st, join.
3rd Round—Working in d c, increase in every other st, join each round (36 d c).
4th Round—Work even.
5th and 6th Rounds—Ch 1 and work 1 s c in each st.
7th Round—Start Brim: Work same as 2nd round.
8th Round—Working in d c, increase in every 5th st.
9th and 10th Rounds—Work even in d c.
11th Round—Increase in every 10th d c.
12th Round—1 s c in each st, cut thread. Sew a row of se­quins around outside edge of brim and sew sequins to crown arranging as desired. Sew hat to head.
LARIAT—Cut 2 strands of White about 1 yard long. Twist tightly together. Double in half and let twist itself.
