CENTER . . . Starting at center with Chartreuse, ch 8. Join with sl st to form ring. 1st rnd: Ch 3, 15 dc in ring. Join with sl st to top of ch-3. 2nd rnd: Ch 4, dc in same place as sl st, * ch 2, skip 1 dc, in next dc make dc, ch 1 and dc. Repeat from * around. Join to 3rd ch of ch-4. 3rd rnd: * Ch 13, dc in 6th ch from hook and in each ch across, skip next sp, 2 sc in next sp, sl st in next dc. Repeat from * around. Join and break off. 4th rnd: Attach thread to loop on end of any spoke, 4 sc in same loop, * ch 10, 4 sc in loop on end of next spoke. Repeat from * around. Join. 5th rnd: Sc in same place as sl st, sc in each of next 3 sc, * 10 sc in next sp, sc in each of next 4 sc. Repeat from * around. Join. 6th rnd: Sc in same place as sl st, * ch 4, skip 1 sc, sc in next sc. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 2, dc in first sc (56 loops). 7th, 8th and 9th rnds: * Ch 4, sc in next loop. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 2, dc in dc. 10th rnd: Ch 4, tr in next loop, * ch 7, holding back on hook the last loop of each tr make tr in each of next 2 loops, thread over and draw through all loops on hook (joint-tr made). Repeat from * around. Join. 11th rnd: Sl st to next sp, 8 sc in same sp, * ch 14, dc in 6th ch from hook and in each ch across, 8 sc in next sp. Repeat from * around. Join and break off.
FIRST FLOWER … Starting at center with Shaded Lt. Yellows, ch 4. 1st rnd: 15 dc in 4th ch from hook. Join. 2nd rnd: Sc in same place as sl st, * ch 5, sc in front loop of next sc. Repeat from * around. Join. 3rd rnd: Sc in back loop of each dc on first rnd. Join and break off (16 sc). 4th rnd: Attach Flamingo to any sc, * ch 10, sc in 6th ch from hook and in each ch across, sl st in next 2 sc. Repeat from * around. Join and break off. 5th rnd: Attach Flamingo to loop on end of any spoke, ch 3, 10 dc in same loop, 6 dc in loop on end ofi next spoke, sl st in loop on end of any spoke on Center, 5 dc in same loop on Flower, 6 dc in loop on end of next spoke, sl st in loop on end of next spoke on Center, 5 dc in same loop on Flower, 11 dc in each remaining loop around. Join and break off.
SECOND FLOWER … Work as for First Flower until 4th rnd is completed. 5th rnd: Attach Flamingo to loop on end of any spoke, ch 3, 10 dc in same loop, 6 dc in loop on end of next spoke, sl st in corresponding dc on scallop following last joining on First Flower, 5 dc in same loop on Second Flower. Complete rnd as for First Flower, joining next 2 scallops to next 2 spokes on center as before.
Make 12 more Flowers, joining to previous Flowers and Center in same manner. Join last Flower to corresponding scallop on First Flower.
CENTER (Make 14) … Starting at center with Flamingo, ch 2. 1st rnd: 15 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join and break off. Sew a Center to each Flower. Starch lightly and press.
