228 motifs are required for spread measuring 75 inches x 106 inches.

Ch 8, join to form a ring, ch 1 and work 12 s c in ring, join in 1 st s c.
2nd Row: Ch 5, d c in next s c, * ch 2, d c in next s c, repeat from * 9 times, ch 2, join in 3rd st of ch.
3rd Row: Sl st into loop, ch 3, 3 d c in same space, slip loop off hook, insert hook in 3rd st of ch, pick up loop and pull through, * ch 4, popcorn st in next loop (popcorn st: 4 d c in same space, slip loop off hook, insert in 1st d c, pick up loop and pull through), repeat from * all around, ch 4, join in top of 1st popcorn st.
4th Row: * Ch 3, 4 s c in next loop, repeat from * all around.
5th Row: Sl st into ch 3 loop, ch 3 (counts as part of 1st popcorn st), popcorn st in same space, ch 5, popcorn st in same space, * ch 5, popcorn st in next ch 3 loop, ch 5, 2 popcorn sts with ch 5 between in next ch 3 loop, repeat from * all around ending with ch 5, popcorn st in next loop, ch 5, join.

Sew motifs together as illustrated on chart having 18 motifs in 1st row lengthwise, 17 motifs in 2nd row. Repeat the 2 rows 5 times then sew 18 motifs in last row.
FRINGE: Wind thread over a 2¾ inch card board. Cut one end. Using 7 strands, double in half and knot through every 5th s c on each long side.
