Make necessary number of blocks and sew together with neat over-and-over stitches as in illustration—the entire outer edge of spread should be finished with the scalloped edge (having 5 scallops on outer edge of each corner motif, and 3 scallops on outer edges of all other motifs); these scallops can be made as the outer blocks are crocheted (see illustration of spread).
