Starting at tip of leaf, ch 15. Hereafter work over a cord, or 4 strands of same thread. 1st row: S c in 2nd ch from hook, s c in each ch to within last ch, 5 s c in last ch, s c in each ch along opposite side of foundation, 3 s c over cord only. Hereafter pick up only the back loop of each s c. S c in each s c to within 4 s c from center s c at tip of leaf. Ch 1, turn. 2nd row: S c in each s c to within center of 3 s c (over cord), 3 s c in center s c, s c in each s c on other side to within 4 s c from center s c at tip of leaf. Ch 1, turn. 3rd row: S c to within center of 3-s c group, 3 s c in center s c, s c on other side to within last 3 sts. Ch 1, turn. 4th, 5th and 6th rows: Same as 3rd row. Fasten off. Make 2 more leaves like this. Sew together sides of leaves, as in illustration, with over-and-over stitches.
