Repeat from * around; join to 3rd st of ch-5 first made. 3rd rnd: In each sp make: s c, half d c, d c, half d c, s c (a petal). 4th rnd: Insert hook from wrong side of work in last sp, and bring it out of next (1st) sp, thread over and complete an s c, * ch 5, insert hook over next d c-bar and complete an s c as before. Repeat from * around. 5th rnd: Sl st to center of next loop, * ch 5, s c in next loop. Repeat from * around. Now work in rows as follows: 1st row: * Ch 5, s c in next loop, ch 5, s c in next loop. Ch 7, turn. 2nd row: S c in 1st loop, ch 5, s c in 2nd loop. Ch 7, turn. Repeat the 2nd row 5 more times, omitting ch-7 at end of 7th row. Fasten off.

Second Rosette … Work 1st 4 rnds as for first rosette. 5th rnd: Sl st to center of next loop, s c in same loop, * ch 5, s c in next loop. Repeat from * 5 more times, ** ch 2, sl st in 1st loop of last row of completed section, ch 2, s c in next loop on rosette in work. Repeat from ** once more; make 4 more ch-5 loops. Now work 7 rows as for 1st section. Fasten off.
   Work in this manner for desired length, omitting the 7 rows of last section. Attach thread to 4th free loop of 1st rosette, and work as follows: ** ch 3, s c in next loop. Repeat from ** 2 more times, ch 3, d c in 1st loop of 1st row of loops, * ch 3, d c in next loop.
