Susan will measure approximately 15½ inches when completed. Make clothes in proportion. Slip, dress and apron are made from straight pieces of material. The dress is made from the polka dot material with a full skirt which is shirred onto the waist. Waist is open down the back and may be closed with snap fasteners, or tied with ribbons. Slip and apron are made from white cotton material. The slip has a piece of lace sewn to lower edge. The top of the apron is gathered in to a narrow piece of eyelet beading. Draw a ¼-inch strip of the polka dot material through eyelets and tie in back of Susan. A similar piece of eyelet beading is sewn to bottom of apron and a strip of polka dot material drawn through eyelets.
