Each Motif measures about 4½ inches. Completed Cloth 12 x 15 motifs measures about 54 x 68.

2nd Row. Ch 1, * 4 s c in loop, repeat from * all around.
3rd Row. Ch 9, d c over d c, * ch 6, d c over next d c, repeat from * all around, ch 6, join in 4th st of ch.

11th Row. Sl st to center of loop, * ch 6, sl st in 5th st from hook for picot, repeat from * ch 1, sl st over next loop, make a double picot loop, sl st in center st of next loop, ch 5, thread over hook 3 times insert in same st of loop, work off 2 loops 3 times leaving 2 loops on needle, thread over hook twice, insert in same space and work off all loops two at a time, ch 6, sl st in 1st st of ch for picot, thread over hook 3 times, insert hook in center st of next loop, work off 2 loops 3 times, thread over twice, insert in same space and work off all loops on hook, 2 at a time, ch 5, sl st in same st of loop, finish row working double picot loops at sides and 2 petals at corners.

To Join Motifs, work to corner and work 1 petal at corner, ch 3, sl st into corner picot of 1st Motif, ch 3, sl st into top of petal just made, work the second petal at corner, * ch 6, sl st into 5th st from hook for picot, ch 1, sl st between the 1st 2 picots of first Motif, ch 6, sl st into 5th st for picot, ch 1, sl st into next loop of Motif being made, repeat from * to corner and join 2nd corner same as first corner.
