Baby's Feeding Bottle Pattern #1022

MATERIALS REQUIRED.—1 ball Royal Society Crochet Cotton, color 1015, Pink, size 5, and 1 ball Royal Society Crochet Cotton, White, size 5. Crochet hook, No. 7.

In Crocheting always insert hook into whole chain.

First Row.White—Ch. 4, skip 3, 16 d. c. into next.

Second Row.—Ch. 3, 2 d. c. into each all around, join.

Third Row.—Ch. 3, 1 d. c. into each all around, join.

Fourth Row.—Ch. 3, (*) 1 d. c. into 1st stitch, 1 d. c. into next, 1 d. c. into 3rd, 2 d. c. into the 4th. Repeat from (*) all around.

Fifth Row.Pink—same as 4th row.

Sixth Row.—Ch. 3, 1 d. c. into each all around.

Repeat 6th row 24 times, arranging colors in the following way: 3 rows of White and 1 row of Pink alternately.

FOR HEADING

First Row.Pink—Ch. 4, skip 1 d. c. of previous row, 1 d. c. Ch. 1, skip 1, 1 d. c. Repeat all round, connect with sl. st. into ch. 4.

Second Row.—1 sl. st. into 1st hole, ch. 4, 1 d. c. into next hole. Ch. 1, 1 d. c. into next. Repeat all round.

Third Row.—Sl. st. into 1st hole, ch. 4, 1 d. c. into next hole, ch. 1, 1 d. c. into next, continue around.

Fourth Row.—2 s. c. into 1st hole, ch. 3, catch back into 1st ch. to form picot, 2 s. c. into next, ch. 3, form picot, continue around. Run ribbon below picot edge and tie.

If ribbon is not desired run a narrow piece of white elastic round top. This will allow the corner to be put on and off easily.
