An ideal rug for a child's room, in Blue or Pink or any colors of your choosing.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Lily Sugar 'N Cream Yarn Art. 930 or
Lily Cotton Yarn Art. 600 or
Lily Rug Yarn Art. 241 and
Crochet hook size 1.
6 balls or skeins Background Color—Color A.
4 balls or skeins White or Ivory—Color B.
4 balls or skeins Border Color—Color C.

ROW 1—In Color A, ch 89, 88 sc on ch. ROW 2—Ch 1, turn, 88 sc. Repeat 11 times. ROW 14—Ch 1, turn, follow chart across—bottom row—from left to right, make 11 sc, join Color B through 2 loops of final sc. Always join new color through 2 loops of final st in previous color, drop A on side next you (back of rug), LS in B in next 3 sts, drop on back, join second ball of Color A, make 74 sc.
Join extra balls of yarn on either side of bunny designs (and for ears and legs) to eliminate breaking and rejoining in each row. Pin to back of work when not using to work back in next row.
ROW 15—Starts at right of chart—second row. Ch 1, turn, 73 sc, join Color B and make 4 sc, join other ball of A and make 11 sc. Continue through chart for first Bunny working all uneven rows from right to left and all EVEN rows from left to right of chart.
Before starting bunny on upper chart, work 17 rows of sc across rug in Color A.
ROW 92—Starts at left of chart—bottom row of upper chart. Ch 1, turn, 39 sc in A, 5 LS in B and 44 sc A. Continue through chart, then in Color A work 14 rows of sc to finish center panel of rug.

BORDER—Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in last sc, * sc across with 3 sc in end sc, (sc in next 4 rows on side, sk next row) repeat across, * 3 sc in corner. Repeat from * to *. 1 more sc in first corner, sl st in first sc. ROW 2—Ch 2, turn, 2 hdc in same st, hdc in each st around, 3 hdc in corners. 1 more hdc in first corner, sl st in first hdc. ROW 3—Ch 2, turn, 3 hdc in same st, hdc around, 5 hdc at corners. 2 more hdc in first corner, sl st in first hdc. Fasten off. ROW 4—In Color C, without turning, 2 hdc in corner st, hdc around with 3 hdc in corners. 1 more hdc in first corner, sl st in first hdc. ROW 5—Ch 1, turn, 2 LS in same st, LS around, 3 LS in corners. 1 more LS in first corner, sl st in first LS. ROW 6—Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in same st, sc around with 3 sc in corners, 1 more sc in first corner, sl st in first sc. Repeat Rows 5 and 6 five times, then Row 6. Fasten off.

FLOWER—In color B, ch 2, 8 sc in first st. 3 LS in back lp of each sc. Fasten off. Make a French Knot in Color C in center. Make 11. Sew on rug, following illustration.

SHORT STEMS—In Color C, ch 9, 8 sc on ch. Fasten off. Make 2.

MED. STEMS—Ch 16, 15 sc in ch. Make 2.

CENTER LEAF SPRAY—Ch 21, * sk last st, (2 sc, hdc, 2 dc, 4 tr, 2 dc, hdc, sc and sl st) on ch, * ch 22, sk st, 21 sc on ch, ch 15. Repeat from * to *. Sc in 6 sts of stem. Sew stems in place.

EYE—In Color C, ch 2, 6 sc in first st, join and fasten off. Make a tiny White st in center. Sew one on each bunny. Tie White Fluff Fringe (24 strand tufts) on edge of rug and between first 2 hdc-rows of Border. Tie 3 tufts on tail of each Bunny.
