Four-color edging—suggest Nile Green, Beauty Pink, Blue and White.
With White make a chain slightly longer than desired length. 1st row: Half d c in 5th ch from hook, * skip 2 ch, half d c in next ch, ch 2, half d c in same place as last half d c. Repeat from * across. Drop White, attach Green, ch 1, turn. 2nd row: Into each ch-2 sp make s c, half d c, 3 d c, half d c and s c (a scallop). Fasten off. 3rd row: Pick up White, ch 7, d c between first and second scallops, inserting hook between White half d c's, * ch 2, d c in same place as last d c, d c between this and next scallop, inserting hook between White half d c's. Repeat from * across, skip last scallop, tr in next ch. Drop White, attach Pink, turn. 4th row: Attach Pink to ch-7 sp at beginning of last row, make a scallop in same sp and in each ch-2 sp across. Fasten off. 5th row: Repeat 3rd row. Fasten off. 6th row: Attach Blue and repeat 2nd row. Fasten off.
