A rose guest towel.

INSERTION … Make a chain slightly longer than width of towel. 1st row: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, ch 3, skip 3 ch, sc in next ch, * ch 5, skip 3 ch, sc in next ch, ch 3, skip 3 ch, in next ch make (dc, ch 3) 3 times; skip 3 ch, sc in next ch. Repeat from * across, ending with ch 5, skip 3 ch, sc in next ch, ch 3, skip 3 ch, sc in next ch. Cut off remaining chain. Ch 1, turn. 2nd row: Sc in first sp, * ch 3, in next loop make (tr, ch 3) 3 times; (sc in next loop, ch 3) 3 times; sc in next loop. Repeat from * across, ending with sc in last sp. Ch 3, turn. 3rd row: * 3 dc in each of next 4 sps, (sc in next loop, ch 5) twice; sc in next loop. Repeat from * across, ending with dc in last sc. Ch 3, turn. 4th row: Skip first dc, * dc in next dc, (ch 2, skip next dc, dc in next dc) 5 times; dc in next dc, sc in next loop, ch 5, sc in next loop. Repeat from * across, ending with dc in top of turning chain. Ch 1, turn. 5th row: Sc in first sp, * ch 3, (holding back on hook the last loop of each dc, make 3 dc in next sc, thread over and draw through all loops on hook—cluster made—ch 1, sc in next sp) 4 times; ch 3, sc in next loop, ch 3, sc in next sp. Repeat from * across. Break off. Work along opposite side of starting chain the same way.
   Press insertion and sew neatly to towel.
