Materials Required: AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "STAR" PEARL COTTON, ARTICLE 90, SIZE 5
2—50 yd. Balls White.
2—50 yd. Balls Blue or any Color desired.
Steel Crochet Hook No. 7.
1 yd. Narrow Ribbon.

SOLES. Work sole same as Slipper No. 5302.
UPPER SECTION. With Blue, ch 26, work 25 s c on ch, ch 1 to turn each row.
2nd Row. Working in back loop of st only throughout, work 1 s c in each of the next 12 s c, 3 s c in center s c, 1 s c in each remaining 12 s c, drop Blue.
3rd Row. Attach White, 1 s c in each s c.
4th Row. 1 s c in each s c working 3 s c in center s c.
5th Row. Pick up Blue, work 1 s c in each s c.
6th Row. 1 s c in each s c working 3 s c in center s c, drop Blue. Repeat the last 4 rows once. Repeat the 3rd and 4th rows once.
13th & 14th Rows. With Blue, work same as 6th row.
15th Row. With White, 1 s c in each s c.
16th Row. 1 s c in each s c working 3 s c in center s c.
17th & 18th Rows. With Blue, ch 1, 1 s c in each s c, drop Blue.
19th Row. With White, ch 1, 1 s c in each of the next 17 s c, ch 6, turn.
20th Row. 1 s c in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in each of the next 4 sts of ch, 1 s c in each of the next 17 s c, drop White.
21st & 22nd Rows. With Blue, ch 1, 1 s c in each s c, drop Blue.
23rd & 24th Rows. With White, ch 1, 1 s c in each s c, drop White. Repeat the last 4 rows 13 times, break thread.
Sew to 17 sts at opposite side of vamp.
With wrong side of sole and right side of upper section toward you, with Blue, crochet upper section to sole with a row of s c leaving 17 sts free at toe for opening, break thread.
BEADING. With wrong side of boot toward you, attach Blue in 20th row of upper section working along top of boot, ch 5, skip 1 row, d c in next row, * ch 2, skip 1 row, d c in next row, repeat from * around top of boot only, ch 1, turn.
Next Row. Work a row of s c around top of boot working 2 s c in each mesh, break thread. Lace ribbon through mesh beading.
POMPON. Wind 80 strands of thread over a ¾ inch cardboard, cut one end, tie around center and trim into a ball. Sew Pompon in position as illustrated.
